No Rider Course for me

On Monday I opened my mail to find a letter from the company that I signed up with for the motorcycle Rider Course. Apparently they’re going out of business and will not be offering the classes that they have already scheduled. The letter said that they will not be offering refunds, but that whatever company gets the contract to run the course will provide the course for all the students that have already registered. But at this time there’s no news as to who that company will be.

So I’m not going to be getting my motorcycle license anytime in the immediate future. Who knows when the next Rider Course will be offered? And who knows how accommodating they will be schedulewise? I had to wait close to four months to get into the course; they’d better hold open slots for those that had already scheduled a class. If I have to call every week for the next four months to get into a course I’ve already paid for, I won’t be a happy camper.
