I'm having a rockstar day
Productivity is not measured in lines of code. I’ve written 15 lines of code today.
I’ve fixed problems with three website templates and made progress toward making the template system easier to maintain.
I found AND FIXED two bugs in our ordering system that could cause customers to be able to order tours or cruises on days they weren’t really available. Also made it possible to control availability in years other than 2004, which will come in handy as 2005 approaches. koff koff
I’m very close to implementing a new feature in the calendaring that will make ordering one-time events much easier for our customers and make for fewer errors in incoming orders. This feature will require at least another half-dozen lines of code. =^) It also shifts some of the responsibility for date selection to the server-side, where it should be, rather than the flaky and wholly unreliable client-side.
I’m thinking of maybe taking the day “off” and just go to the gym instead of running or cycling. Then maybe laundry. Damn. I think I’d better go back to coding. Thinking about the non-work part of my day is bringing me down.
ROCKSTAR!
